Specific Interests
I am primarily interested in two topics: the toxicological assessment of pesticide mixtures and the toxicokinetics of pesticides in amphibians. Environmental pollutants such as pesticides are typically encountered in the environment as mixtures, whether as different pesticide formulations or as the different components in the formulations themselves. Amphibians are of interested to me due to their tendency to dermally absorb environmental pollutants, creating exposure scenarios not seen in mammalian or avian species.
