Specific Interests

"I am interested in the genetic variation within and among bat populations.  My dissertation is focused on determining the population connectivity of the Ozark Big-Eared Bat in Oklahoma and Arkansas in order to better manage this endangered species."

Awards

  • $4200 from Bat Conservation International Student Research Scholarship. Dissertation Title: Genetic structure of Ozark Big-eared bat (Corynorhinchus townsendi ingens) populations and establishment of a non-invasive population monitoring program.
