Specific Interests

My research is primarily focused on the effects of anthropogenic stressors on the population genetic structure of the freshwater amphipod, Hyalella azteca. Specifically I’m trying to examine the question of adaptation vs. acclimation to increased levels of cadmium, lead and zinc.
