Specific Interests

I am concerned with issues relating to biological conservation and how habitat use affects organisms both on an individual and on a population scale. Specifically, I want to determine what types of habitats create population sources and population sinks for ecologically important pollinator species. My current research focuses on the affect that anthropomorphic land use has on migrating monarch butterfly populations throughout the Great Plains.
