Specific Interests
In the Baum lab, I’ll be studying how land use and associated disturbance regimes affect the abundance and distribution of Cycnia inopinatus, a milkweed dependent moth. I will also look at parasitism rates within these different land use types on the unexpected Cycnia by tachinid flies and ichneumoid wasps. Using citizen science data, I will develop an ecological niche model of potential habitat for this species.
