Specific Interests

My main research interests are evolutionary and functional studies of molecular processes of mammalian reproduction. My postdoctoral research focuses on how loss of imprinting in hybrid mice leads to differential expression in brain and placental tissue, ultimately affecting the behavior of mothers and offspring. My doctoral research focused on protamines (nuclear sperm proteins), their evolutionary and selective patterns and involvement in sperm head phenotype.
