Specific Interests

My current research combines the disciplines of Evolutionary Biology and Ecotoxicology, specifically dealing with indicator invertebrate species such as Daphnia (water fleas). Using ancient "resurrected" clones from various time periods (1300s-present), I am trying to determine if genetic variation in these populations can be attributed with tolerance to common-use pesticides and anthropogenic stressors.
