I am interested in how organisms assess their environment, specifically in the context of predator-prey interactions. My current research will investigate how freshwater snails utilize risk and safety cues and how their perception of risk affects their behavior and physiology. This will be the first empirical study looking at safety cues and their role in predator-prey interactions.
