Specific Interests
I am interested in the effects of anthropogenic (human-made) noise on cognition in cetaceans (whales and dolphins). Currently, I am studying task disruption by anthropogenic noise on attention, learning, and memory in bottlenose dolphins, Tursiops truncatus. My other interests are the welfare of wild marine mammal populations and kin selection in the Steppe mouse, Mus spicilegus.
