The McCullagh lab just received a National Institutes of Health R15 award from the The Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.
The 2021 Annual Integrative Biology Awards Celebration was cancelled this year due to COVID-19. However, through the generosity of our donors, we were still able to recognize our students with awards.
Rabeca Richardson won first place in the research-intensive institution category at the Research Day at the Capitol event in Oklahoma City. Rabeca is a Niblack Scholar in Bo Zhang's lab and is majoring in Microbiology, Cell, and Molecular Biology. For more information on Research Day and Rabeca's presentation, click here.

The past academic year brought many new faculty and staff to our department:
Jillian Gore, a Zoology major conducting undergraduate research, will be featured in the upcoming Oklahoma EPSCoR 2022 Women in Science conference, an event that aims to promote a future in science for girls in 6th through 12th grade. The event will be virtual and go live online on 22 February 2022.
