Grad Student Recieves Wildlife Fellowship

 

 

PhD student Cassondra Walker, advised by Dr. Monica Papeş, received a 2015 Welder Wildlife Foundation fellowship in the amount of $20,500 for her proposal entitled "Satellites, sensors, and lasers: The new faces in avain conservation". The Rob and Bessie Welder Wildlife Foundation's graduate research fellowship program was established in 1956 with the aim of supporting exceptional students in the field of wildlife conservation.
