Zoology major featured in EPSCoR Women in Science Conference

Jillian Gore, a Zoology major conducting undergraduate research, will be featured in the upcoming Oklahoma EPSCoR 2022 Women in Science conference, an event that aims to promote a future in science for girls in 6th through 12th grade. The event will be virtual and go live online on 22 February 2022.

For this event, two members of the OSU Undergraduate Research Committee—Rachael Eaton (College of Arts and Sciences) and Latasha Tasci (Scholar Development and Undergraduate Research)—spearheaded an effort to have female undergraduates involved in research submit videos for the conference's “Recruitment Fair” project.  The objectives of this project are to (1) encourage Oklahoma 6–12th grade students to attend OSU and (2) to encourage them to pursue STEM fields. Videographers at ITLE assisted with editing, and there were 3 submissions. If interested, please take three minutes to download and watch these wonderful videos.
